Samantha Holbrook Photography

Hey everyone! For those of you who haven’t read my pages, About Me or The girl behind it all, I’m Samantha! The owner and photographer at Samantha Holbrook Photography. Here you will find Client Gallery Sneak Peeks along with links to their galleries on my Pixieset webpage.

Photography has always been a hobby for me. I fell in love with it many years ago, but have never had the proper equipment, skills, or practice that it took to be professional. Back in January of this year, my sweet husband surprised me with my first DSLR camera. I had no idea how to work it, but it didn’t stop me from finding out. I joined many photographer groups, researched all I could on what it took to be a photographer (a GOOD photographer). I even looked to the advice of a few well respected and sought out photographer friends in my area. With their help, I have came a long way. I practiced any chance I got and suckered my poor kids into being my models (who couldn’t with them being so darn cute?).

It wasn’t until I did a practice newborn session for my cousin that I decided to start my business. After posting images from their session on facebook, my inbox was booming with inquiries. That was the best feeling in the world for my work to be appreciated. I still had a long way to go. I learned a little from each session, and I am still learning to this day.

Photography and cooking, to me, is a way of expressing who I am. It is my form of artwork. I make it my mission to conduct a session that best fits my clients and their unique personalities.
